A little introspection...
To me, being successful means...
Being happy!
My definition of success has changed over time.
I used to focus on career as an indicator for success, but I now realize mental health well being is just as (if not more) important than career goals
My greatest accomplishment to date and what I’ve learned from it
Obtaining my doctorate - I learned how to have a health balance between professional and personal lives
My biggest mistake or regret so far and what I’ve learned from it
Working myself so hard I became depressed. I learned to say no!
An unexpected event that significantly changed my life and how it impacted me
I found out I was pregnant as I finished up my degree- I had to change my priorities, which made me realize- I will accomplish my goals, I don’t have to do it all RIGHT NOW.
