A little introspection...
To me, being successful means...
Looking back at an experience and feeling satisfied with what I have put in and what I have gotten out of it.
My definition of success has changed over time.
When you are just starting out, school and careers seems to be the most important areas to focus on. Now it's all about my relationships.
My greatest accomplishment to date and what I’ve learned from it
I was a collegiate athlete. I have an MBA. I have been a manager at a Fortune 10 company. But by far my greatest accomplishment has been the relationships I have cultivated with my husband, children, family and friends.
My biggest mistake or regret so far and what I’ve learned from it
My regrets have been not taking advantage of certain opportunities to build friendships, like going on that road trip or making that extra effort to attend a wedding.
