Life since high school

Someone once told me to value “People, Places and lastly THINGS” - in that order. People: friends and family. Places: home, places you’ve visited. Things: don’t matter as much as we think they do at the time.

Attended college / university at
Foothill College and Mission College. Stopped going to school a few years after I started and worked full time. Finally went back and finished 17 years later!!

Majored in
Useless Liberal Studies AA degree, but hey! I finished!!

Current occupations / past occupations
Past: Worked at flower shop, travel agency, car dealerships, then electronics company.
Most recently: raised children as stay-home mom.

- Transportation and Warehousing
- Information (e.g. Publishing, Film, Broadcast, Telecommunications, Libraries)
- Administrative and Support Services

A little introspection...

To me, being successful means...
Love of family! THE most important thing. Being satisfied with "enough" - not worrying about excess. Someone once told me to value "People, Places and lastly THINGS" - in that order. People: friends and family. Places: home, places you've visited. Things: don't matter as much as we think they do at the time. Does NOT mean money and power.

My definition of success has not changed over time.

My greatest accomplishment to date and what I’ve learned from it
My children

My favorite spot in or around Palo Alto

Paly, Foothill Park, Baylands, Cook's riding stables. [map pointing to Baylands]
