A little introspection...
To me, being successful means...
Loving yourself, loving a craft or finding a passion, and loving others.
My definition of success has changed over time.
My definition has changed from a "paper chase" perspective, where I thought achieving high academic marks was most important, to something related more to what simply makes me happy.
My greatest accomplishment to date and what I’ve learned from it
Running a marathon. I learned so much about myself and how persistence towards a goal, despite any setbacks, eventually wins the day.
My biggest mistake or regret so far and what I’ve learned from it
I regret thinking that I had to speed through life in high school and college when rushing is rarely necessary. Moving too fast tends to lead to many mistakes that can be avoided.
An unexpected event that significantly changed my life and how it impacted me
When I became an uncle I was shocked. I felt like my family would change in ways I wasn't prepared for. However, it was an incredible gift that brought my family closer together.
My favorite spot in or around Palo Alto
