A little introspection...
To me, being successful means...
To be passionate about what your spending most of your days doing "work". A career that allows you to grow and improve and that your well compensated for.
My definition of success has changed over time.
When I was younger success was more about "stuff or things" - as I've matured it's more and more about how I can help others and improve my skills in my career.
My greatest accomplishment to date and what I’ve learned from it
Having and raising my children. Have and continue to learn everyday - everyone has their own path.
My biggest mistake or regret so far and what I’ve learned from it
Not taking school more seriously. Really exploring my options for a career. Focusing too much on boys.
An unexpected event that significantly changed my life and how it impacted me
An illness of a loved one. Taught me to appreciate every day and not to waste time on drama and little stuff.
My favorite spot in or around Palo Alto
The Old Mill not in Palo Alto but a fun place to hang out. [now closed, map pointing to its location]
