My definition of success has changed over time.
I am less focused on making money.
To me, being successful means...
A productive life, with as much spare time that I can muster, to spend with my family and friends.
My definition of success has changed over time.
Realizing it is not only important to be productive, but time spent with family & friends is equally important.
To me, being successful means...
Sharing my life with a kind loving companion, children and grandchildren. Living simply so I don't have to worry about the mortgage or bills. Being able help those that I love in little ways. Being able to travel at least once a year. Feeling useful and content but not stressed with my work. Being happy with myself and being consciously grateful for all the blessings that I have experienced so far.
My definition of success has not changed over time.

Having good family and friends to share the ups and downs with. Especially the downs. Also, making enough money to pay the mortgage every month. I don't need to have expensive things, the newest car, or travel everywhere, but I like having a stable place to live and good people to share it with.
My definition of success has not changed over time.
