A little introspection...

To me, being successful means...
Finding the right balance between all of the things that I do in life (work, being a parent, hobbies, etc.)

My definition of success has changed over time.
I didn't understand or value the "parent" part of it until I became a parent.

My greatest accomplishment to date and what I’ve learned from it
Becoming a parent, I am constantly learning from it. A big learning is how much influence I have on my kids, who are learning life lessons everyday.

My biggest mistake or regret so far and what I’ve learned from it
Being financially dependent on other people. I've had to make big sacrifices in life as a result and I've learned that financial independence really does mean owning your current situation and future.

An unexpected event that changed my life and how it impacted me
My husband's company taking a major turn for the worse. It impacted us financially, and we are now having to adjust our lifestyles because of it.
